Fear of God can list  Kanye West ,  Nick Young ,  and our newest cover star ,  Big Sean ,  among its many fans. But w ho is  Fear of God designer  Jerry Lorenzo  a fan of? An illustrator by the name of  Vincent Nappi,  who started drawing images of the brand's latest collection for fun. Lorenzo would later contact to inquire about the art, and even buy a few.

Even though Nappi admits, I'm not the biggest streetwear guy,  he admires the Los Angeles-based brand from an artistic vantage point. I just really love the shapes and layers, he told us over the phone. It has an interesting drapery, or cool juxtapositions I find very compelling. I just thought they were fun. ​ 

You can find all of Nappi's work on his Instagram , where he posts illustrations of pieces from other brands, like   BLK DNM   and  Haider Ackermann , alongside musicians, including Kanye and A$AP Rocky . In fact, posting illustrations of pieces from Fear of God's latest collection to his Instagram page is exactly how Lorenzo discovered Nappi. [Lorenzo]  had been giving me really nice shoutouts, Nappi told us, and he'd blown [the illustrations] up a few times on his page ​. Finally, he contacted me and was interested in buying a few pieces​.
